- Bumble Bee -

Bumble bees commonly build their nests in abandoned burrows and other animal nests, favoring the fluffy insulation they provide to keep their hives warm. These nests can be located both underground and in the attics of structures, nestled within the insulation. Bumble bees are typically large, ranging from 1/4" to 1" in length, covered in fuzzy hair with distinctive black and yellow markings. It is common to find bumble bees of varying sizes within a single nest.
